Double check for spelling (esp. names) + grammar

Triple check that the agent/agency you're reaching out to in fact represents the artist(s) that you're mentioning in the email (you don't want to be the one who emails Art + Commerce asking to assist [insert artist's name] when they are in fact represented by Streeters)

Keep it short and simple - your email shouldn’t list your life story or experiences, only the main points (if you catch our attention we will look at your resume for more information on your experiences and education)

Attach your resume and portfolio as one PDF (resume as the first page) name the PDF as follows: Ex. MUA Zoe Smith Resume + Portfolio.pdf

If an agent or booker responds back to your email, respond as soon as you can if you want to be on that job or work with that artist - the pace at an agency is very fast and constantly shifting, so we usually need immediate responses in order to keep things organized and moving
